He has experience of being a teacher, coordinator, and head of school in China and Thailand’s international school. He has certifications for teaching both AP Psychology, AP English literature and composition and IB Psychology. He admits he can be competitive trying to get the best results for students; however, he understands that each student has different needs, and the best result is the one that is right for each student.

Nathan comes from Sydney, Australia and has a Masters of Leadership and Management in Education from the University of Newcastle in Australia a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and a Diploma of Teaching (Primary) from the University of Western Sydney and will achieve later this year. He has over 27 years of experience in Education, including 10 years of experience as a K-12 Independent School Principal in Australia. He is joined in China by his wife (who is also a MS/HS Principal in BIBS) and two of his four children. Nathan has a firm belief that every child has the ability to learn far more than they ever thought possible. He believes that a school should be an engaging and inspiring place of learning and is committed to ensuring that each individual student has the opportunity to achieve success in a safe and supportive environment.

Mr Ken is a school leader of vast experience. He possesses professional understandings in relation to early childhood, elementary and secondary education, bilingual education, curriculum, pedagogy, the International Baccalaureate, assessment, school accountability and school improvement. He has worked as a Principal, Consultant Principal and Director Schools. Mr Ken is known as an Educator of quality, having in recent years led three school communities through significant educational change. He led an International School in Nanjing China through the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program to become a fully authorized PYP World School. Similarly, he led one of the first 34 schools out of 700 schools to become an Independent public School in Western Australia. His most recent position in Suzhou was the establishment of a new school where he was the foundation principal. As an educational leader Mr Ken builds distinctive, world-class educational ‘communities of excellence’ all students are motivated to achieve their best and to realize their full potential in a values-rich environment.

Wei yongmi, born on June 5, 1963, graduated from the department of biology of Yunnan Normal University in July 1984, Bachelor of Science. In July 1984, she began to teach in Kunming Normal School, and in 1991, she started to work in Kunming No.10 Middle School. In 1994, she held the position of Associate Dean in Kunming No. 10 Middle School. In 2001, she served as deputy principal of Kunming No. 10 Middle School and principal of Jiaosanqiao Campus. Since 2003, she has been the legal representative and principal of Baita Campus (No.10 middle school). In 2010, she was in full charge of the new campus and founded the first international department in Yunnan province and has been chief of the international department. She was awarded Senior Teacher in 2001.

In 2004, she joined the Beanstalk Education Group and serve as the director and chairman assistant.

Mrs. Wyllie is a citizen of Australia; however, she has called New Zealand home for more than 30 years.  She has taught and held senior educational leadership positions in New Zealand and, for the last seven, in international schools in China –Wuxi, Suzhou and Beijing. She is a life member of the Golden Keys Honours Society, an invitation-only international academic think-tank for high performing scholars and teachers. Mrs. Wyllie has a special interest and comprehensive experience in inquiry-based teaching and learning and describes herself as a traveler on her own life-long learning journey within the context of educational pedagogy and leadership. She is enthusiastic and passionate about students becoming internationally-minded global citizens, and to this end, seeks to establish collaborative relationships with all stakeholders in her learning community – students, parents, colleagues, professional bodies, educational and cultural institutions, and the wider community at large.

She has more than 40 years of teaching experience and has served as an education manager for the past 30 years. Served as deputy director of the Western Academy of Beijing and principal of elementary school. Since joining International Education, he has been participating in and actively promoting the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) visits and accreditation of international schools as an IB observer. As a visionary education leader, she is passionate about the growth and internationalization of students, focusing on the development and value enhancement of the school.
